Speak to Tweet Feed →
Google and Twitter push to Speak 2 Tweet, a service whereby Egyptians can continue to tweet by leave voice messages from their phone. These tweets are amazing. It adds some more humanity to the plight of the Egyptian people. This is why technology is great. Kudos to the Goog and Twitter for standing up to a foreign government too, it really does speak to compassion a company can have.

Look what I made:
^ Click the square if you’re viewing this in the dashboard. ^ It’s a flash-built splash page for Totoro. It was my first assignment for my Fundamentals of Interactive Design class, and like in my Photoshop post a week ago, I feel this is decent for a week’s experience in Flash CS5. And if you know Flash, I’ll just explain why it has the animations it does. I was...

School’s been getting stressful. Between trying to learn 3 programs and a language and trying sift throw distractions to find time to devote to all of them, I’ve been busy. That’s why I was really looking forward to tonight. Tokyo Police Club coheadlinded with Two Door Cinema Club. Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin opened. And it all rocked. So much fun. It was Two...

Life has reminded me just how quickly things can change. Because in the last week, there has been a shuffling of people in my life. A friend unexpectedly isn’t coming back to town, another friend is moving across town and away from friends and then there was the weird situation where one of my friends dumped my other friend (and roommate). So, in the past few days I’ve come to find...

SPIDEY'S WEBSHOOTERS
honorlanternyezzi: okay, i’ve been debating about this a lot lately and i would like to hear what everyone else thinks about the web device versus the natural webbing i personally like when the webs come from his body, to me it’s a lot cooler. i understand that the web fluid device shows that he’s smart and blah blah blah but so what we know he’s smart anyway and i need better plot devices than...

I got offered a new job in my company today. In the fifth week of my QA position, my boss offered that I take the job of the girl whose job I was hired to replace (she moved to another QA job that’s a bit more involved). The girl whose job I took once, and perhaps twice now, will be moving to a full time position (that’s my understanding of it), leaving her job open. Is that a...

California deems it legal for police to search... →
Like, say, if you’re arrested, police can look through your phone for anything incriminating. I wonder what would happened if they encountered a password or something? Is it illegal to withhold such information from an officer? Either way, I think citizens of California need to have a discussion with their elected officials about what the word privacy means. No bueno.

It’s such an annoying feeling, to have all this money all of a sudden, cash I earned, and know I really can’t spend it. I’ll need it soon, for school. I need to save so I can go to Vancouver or Lollapalooza. Why do all these frivolous desires suddenly pop into my head after cashing my first check? Oh godddd, it burning a hole in my bank accountttt.

2010
2010 was a winding year. It started it out living with my brother, roommate Aaron, and friend Fernando, going to school without a defined goal and having fun with friends. That Spring semester was filled with parties and plans on how much better next semester would be. Summer was learning a new dynamic. One without my brother or my former roommate.  Without my friends’ house to chill at. A...
